Ghost Town

The grass seems to be greener than ever, probably because of the lack of footsteps crushing their blades. The pine trees are the same as before, however, the other trees (which I don’t know what they are) are blooming with Spring. Besides the color green, yellow is a very big color that catches your eye. It is yellow from tape marking off restricted areas. Who would have ever thought that a park would come down to this. I remain seated in the solitude of my car, music blaring, my mind trying to come back down to earth. It is nothing but chaos inside. My mind is so cluttered with the over abundance of school work, the stress of bills, being in furlough, and unable to see those that I love. I still don’t fully understand this overwhelming feeling that constantly devours me. Nature is yet again lively, but when will life come back? I yearn for that.
